Preparation & Fittings
What accessories should I bring to my first wedding gown/formal gown fitting?
- Shoes: Bring the pair (or a similar heel height) you plan to wear on your special day.
- Undergarments: Wear or bring the bra, shapewear, slip, or corset you intend to use.
- Veil & Headpiece: Any veil, tiara, comb, or hair accessory you’ll wear.
- Belt or Sash: If you’ve purchased a bridal belt, ribbon, or sash, bring it along.
- Jewelry: Earrings, necklace, or other pieces you want to see with the gown.
- Petticoat/Hoop Skirt: If you’ll wear one under your dress for volume.
Note: While we strive to accommodate all accessories at your first appointment, we understand some items may not yet be available; in that case, we’ll use stand-ins, record exact measurements, and schedule a brief follow-up if necessary.
How many fittings will I need?
Most projects need one initial fitting and, if necessary, a follow-up. Wedding/Formal gown fittings will require at minimum two fittings.
We do not charge for any fitting or follow-up appointments.
What if my fit changes after pickup?
We offer a 30-day fit guarantee—free adjustments if your measurements change or the fit feels off within a month.
